Colds are bloody annoying!

As hopefully one day I will be Doctor Ana Harrison though not medically I highly recommend the following...if you have a cold, DO NOT ATTEND LECTURES! Yesterday I mentioned I would be over my cold by today which failed miserably. I stubbornly went to my 9am lecture this morning refusing to give in to the lurgy. What a mistake. my nose was either blocked and i couldnt breathe, running like linford christie and i was hesitantly yet constantly (and awkwardly) blowing my nose as quietly as possible. Thing is, the more i left it to grab the tissue my throat got more and more tickly making me cough. I can't win. Breathing deeply out of your mouth make you look like an idiot so you can't win!! Plus a crowded lecture theatre in the morning where people have freshly sprayed perfume/aftershave is baaad!! Therefore I recommend staying in bed, its the best thing to do.

I also recommend slapping on the vaseline straight after the blowing of the nose. Yes your nose will be shiny like a disco ball, but its either that or looking like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Its still 10 months and 15 days til christmas so that look isnt the fashion right now.

Tomorrow we are all going down for Rachel's 21st in sexy essex, soooo excited!! Happy 21st Birthday Rachel! Get the stilettos out we're on our way!!
