Getting closer, bets on drunkeness and choccie biccies!!

It's 2 weeks until my dissertation is due in and I'm very excited! No really! The past couple of days have been tough - people are going to start to think I live in the Psychology Labs cos I'm always in early til late, however, I'm not behind, I'm not panicking, I'm plodding along and I can't wait to get it handed in!!!

The psycho crew and myself have been getting excited about what we'll be doing on the day of April 6th, where we're going and who will be the most bladdered - lets get some bets going..mine's Arifa - 2/1 odds on her! Love u Reef! Any more? Emma could be a close second..!!
James has just informed me that he will definitely be in the running...however with Emma and Arifa they could be a right 'threesome'! ooh er!!! Rob finished his dissertation earlier in the week so him and his 'Journo Crew' are out on the razz already, theyve been drinking since one which could be interesting, its now 5.45pm so I look forward to having my bed all by myself tonight!! Needless to say I am slightly jealous that they are all drinking merrily and I'm stuck in here, but it'll be my turn in two weeks!!

AAhhhh my goodness I can't wait!!! and then home for Easter!!

I just want to say a huuuge thankyou to James for sponsoring Sarah and I £50 for our Race For Life run, we are so so so grateful!!. However, we're still needing to reach our target so anything is welcome!! Please text us or email us with any sponsors we'll love you forever!! We've been running a few times now and all is going well, apart from Sarah slipping over and nearly breaking her ankle literally 10 seconds after leaving the house, but all is well and she can still run!!! We're such fitties!!

I have found a new passion and is therefore going to be known as my official 'Snack of the Week'. On par with Mini eggs which are just the best thing ever, I welcome Mint Chocolate Digestives!! They are gorgeous and to die for, I love them.

Can I have comments on the weirdness of putting mayonnaise in a roasted vegetable wrap please? Personally I think its the most absurd and disgusting thing ever....Yuck.

Ambitions, a new hobby and a plea for sponsorship!

I've found a great stress-buster for all the goings on in our 3rd year-dissertation-fuelled lives here in Lincoln, and of course all you lot dotted around the country. Running. I can't get very far but i love it. In fact, due to my new hobbie (despite only having gone once so far but loved it at the gym) I've decided to use it to raise some dosh all in aid of Cancer Research!

As you know, Cancer affects all of us at some point i our lives, whether it be family, friends, popstar idols (We love you Kylie) or even ourselves. Scary thought, but by supporting charities that help the awareness and research of cancer such as sponsoring lovely people like me, we can all go to bed safe and sound knowing we've helped that little bit towards other peoples lives who unfortunately are or will be suffering from this terrible illness.

Therefore! I make my plea to you all wonderful, generous and heartfelt people to sponsor myself and Sarah run this year's 5 KM Race For Life in aid of Cancer Research. We'll be running 5KM, (which will be a challenge for us, we wouldnt see the point in it if it was easy!) in Brighton on the 1st July. We have had some fantastic donations, all £5 or £10 and even £50 (!) so far, so please give us your support and sponsor us what you can! It really is for a fantastic cause, not to mention the thought of two girls sweating it out by running 5KM with the best sports bras money can buy, because u know we'll need them!

If you want any more information or to join in yourself go to www.raceforlife.org .

If you would like to sponsor us which we will adore you for, text one of us or leave a comment on here with your email address and we'll get your address off of you and put you down on the sponsor forms. We are working as a team so whatever we both raise will go in as one, so if you want to donate then remember that both of us will be doing the race!! Whoever sponsors us the largest amount of money will get a big sloppy kiss on the cheek from both of us and maybe a picture too, depends on how much u love us ha ha ha! (hope thats ok sarah!)

So this is my new challenge and ambition, to do a run for charity...i'd love to run the London Marathon so this could be the first stepping stone. Does anyone have an ambition they want to achieve? Let me know. I've got loads I want to do before I have to get a zimmerframe.

In other news, we bought Sam a canary for his birthday and he is adorable! His name is Iwan and he sings and everything, he particularly likes Girls Aloud, Hip Hop and Stevie Nicks. A picture of him will be posted soon! Even though he is Sam's, we all can't help but feel emotionally attatched to him, maybe apart from Harry who warned Sam that he better not wake him first thing in the morning. He's great.

So remember, please sponsor us!! xxxxxx

A London Adventure!

My weekend was hilariously fun, scary, relaxing, annoying and lovely - in the space of 36 hours. Which means finally I have an actual exciting story to tell!

My mate Tom Golding (remember the name) and I go back to Year 7 in drama class. He was the pupil at school who was the best at drama, you know, theres always one person in a school that you link with a talent - well, Tom = Drama, Drama = Tom, and throughout school he was always the good lookin funny one who everyone would want to be in a group with in drama lessons because you knew you would get a good mark (ha ha sorry tom, true). From about Year 9 we became good mates, he'd come round mine after school and half terms and drink tea, eat biscuits and wait for Britney Spears to come onto MTV. Lots of fun.

By Year 11 we were both in my favourite play The Importance of being Earnest where we played each others love interest, however we somehow managed to dodge the kisisng bit, ha ha!

Anyway! fast forward a few years and he's bagged himself the lead role in a play in London called 'Year 10'. Of course, being the supportive chum I am I book tickets as soon as with my friend Ellie who lives in London and look forward to the weekend. Go home friday night, meet her on saturday and watch the play, back to Lincoln Sunday. Lovely.

But ooooooooooooohhh noooooo, things never happen the way they are planned!

After leaving Lincoln on Friday and being delayed at Peterborough (as usual), getting home was the therapy i needed from all the work and stresses i needed to get away from a bit. After a sweet reunion with the parents and a damn good curry I sat down to have a peaceful night with Teresa, when I got a text. Ellie couldnt make Saturday, leaving me to go and see Tom myself and have no where to stay. Argh!! No worries though, Mum quickly stepped up and the next day off to London we went. It was fantastic, there is something exciting about London which I love and I'd love to stay there for a few days...hint...hint.

More importantly, the play, called 'Year 10' was great and Tom gave a great performance. Having seen him in GCSE and A level doing the majority of comedy parts, watching him perform a deep, serious and hugely touching part gave me goosebumps, and I never knew that someone could make you so engrossed in a character so much, particularly when you know the person playing it! And yes I welled up and my Mother cried. It was such a sad story but with a strong message and I recommend anyone go see it. I was well proud of my schoolmate, to go and do something you truly love and make it into a career just shows you that no matter what it is, if you really want something you just go for it and on a personal level it is quite inspiring. The exciting thing is that he is going to go onto bigger and better things and I wish him all the luck.

Wish I kissed him now...ha ha xxx

(I forgot to mention that on the way home from London I was on the same train as Sarah from Retford and we had a lovely girlie chinwag which made me very happy!! What are the chances?!!! Lots of fun!!)

My new crush and Music festival dreams

I have to grace my blog with my current teenage crush for all to see and admire...the one and only Stuart Parnaby. To clarify, I do not support Middlesbrough FC. However, I do respect them for their incredibly foxy players...Oh Stuart, how I love Thee...

The close up one of him on the MFC website is gorgeous and more close up. Oh, Im in love. And look! Theres little Stuie Downing too!! Love him.

In other news, Sarah's 21st was a blast, particularly the party I threw for her on Sunday. My best moment has to be the pass the parcel prizes and everyone getting to know one another with lots of string! Pictures to follow as I'm in Uni and meant to be working..whoops!

V2006 tickets go on sale this Friday and I am soooo excited, V2001 was my first music festival and I loved it so went back in 2003. This year I'm hoping to take the Boyfriend and some of my mates from home will be going too. This years line up is wicked check it out : www.vfestival.com/lineup (Though ticket prices arent so cool.)
