A New Job & My Birthday Weekend!

My new job is wicked! I love it! Working with children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, I've been told no two days are the same which is fine with me! The 7am alarm hasn't got on my nerves yet and finishing at 3.10pm is always good!
My first day was funny, the first lesson was on parasites including a video which reminded e of the tie in year 8 when i nearly passed out due to Mr Gully talking about fractures. Oh my goodness I felt so nauseas! Random yet idiotic coment of the day 'Sir - is spaghetti a parasite?' hmmm. met a lot of nice kids, met a lot of odd kids, but I can't wait to be given my own timetable and children to work with plus I've met the school's educational psychologist which was very exciting. Going into the staffroom is really strange and seeing all my old teachers! but most of the have been really really nice and pleased to see me, i must be so memorable!
So this week i'm on half term ready to catch up with friends and do a few things before I start again next week. This weekend was fab, my birthday was sunday and I had Rob, Kes, Siobhan, Harry and Dale down as well as my friends from here and family all around for a barbeque which was lots of fun. On a smaller scale than last year but still lovely and yesterday the 6 of us went bowling and laserquest, that was so much fun! bought some goodies for the dvd's we planned to watched in the evening (but never did due to dinner, wine and celeb x factor) and went to the pub for a bit. I had a really good time and I hope Kes enjoyed his 21st !!!
Im now going to play on my new trampoline and make badges with my new badge making machine!!! Thankyou to everyone who sent me cards and pressies! xxxxx

i'm an 'inbetweeny' for a week

How exciting is this, i'm no longer a student yet i'm making the most of my student card. Today I have saved myself a tenner, which is going towards my new life as a fully fledged working adult as from this time next week! oh my goodness i can't wait! I'm also looking into sign language courses which laura daley has got me interested in. You should meet her, she's beautiful.

So I'm done now! exam went alright, the grins on all our faces as we looked round once we'd finished was so much fun. Went to the pub, had a shower and was out in an impressive 25 minutes, then to a psychology party. free bar!!! lots of fun, can't believe i'm not gonna see most of those people ever again. anyway, went to dale's house and then to the delph for andy's charity night. My new favourite band - MANGASM!! Harry's band are ace, lovin the song 'bum love' ha ha. Get me a cd when u record Harry!!

We had our last ever student night at the delph on saturday and i got in at a very impressive 4am. When is the next time i'll do that?!! It was an ace night, apart from when some geezer flew off the stage and broke is next, causing the ambulance service joining the dancefloor for about 45 minutes and drunk student watching the action! never understood why people do that! after all that was over off we went ourselves for a boogie and hardly left! The floor was so sticky I ended up dancing in puddles which was attractive, then after many a groovy tune it all got emotionally charged with a couple of softies leaving us cuddling in huddles and looking at each other trying not to cry. That failed so we hugged more. ha ha.

So now I'm starting the week as I mean to go on, having a lie in, packing, shopping and seeing my buddies before my birthday or graduation. Not too much of a lit in as i'll be gettin up at 7am from next week. I'm so excited about starting, and then my birthday!!

Thanks for the comments left on the other post by the way, Ali as you can see you are well catered for, i'll keep mentioning you from time to time and I'm gonna miss u so much. Same to everyone, thanks for a great night saturday.

Anyway off to do my last set of washing in this house, in a way i'm pleased cos it wasn't unil sunday i realised just how creepy our landlord is and the less contact we have with him the better!!

Lots of love xxx

whoopsie daisies!

Considering I have spent so much time with my gorgeous buddies from my psychology course it would be a very bad thing of me not to have even mentioned them in my last post!! I do apologise! Especially as I have spent so much time with sexy Ali recently, my gym and library buddy whom, give it one more week and i'm sure she would have to go into therapy after all this time with me! No really, I really have made friends for life and I feel incredibly lucky to have met u all. I wish you all the luck in the world!!

Technically shouldnt really be writing this as its 10am on the morning of my very last exam and really should be revising, but the end of term excitement is in the air and Ali & I havent got the best concentration in the world right now! Well Ali has, I haven't! Maybe I should get on....

So, in summary, I love my psycho buddies, lots and lots and lots and lots. I've never had so much fun and I can remember our first day like it was yesterday. As for the rest of you, us lots are almost graduate psychologists so...

Ha ha ha.

Pictures will be up soon! Have fun tonight!!

The end is nigh...

Oh my god!! This is it, the end of my university career...its time to get sentimental!!

No its ok, i won't really, but these 3 years have been fab and ive bagged a yummy northerner which is even better!

I'd be here all day if I went through all the best bits, but for all u luscious lovelys who fancy a bit of nostalgia...remember these??

ha ha ha so many memories, i will never forget them!! i'll put more on soon cos it wont let me add any more! I've made such great friends, and getting to know u all and how we've all changed in the past 3 years, it's has been so much fun to see. I hope everyone becomes everything they want to and do all the things they want to do.

I've learnt so much from all of you (and from my degree, should mention that), for example, not to worry too much, not to take any crap from people, not to take notice of petty girls who think they can treat people how they want, how not to break up with someone, how to take the rough with the smooth and how to live on a tenner...almost! I could go on forever and get even cornier and personal but i'd get into trouble! May edit later..he he...

But anyway, im off home soon to embark upon the next leg of my 'doctor' intelligence, i promise to keep in touch with all you amazing people who i love loads and will be sending all your crazy kids my way to sort em out! Let me know as soon as u become engaged/pregnant/gay/rich/all of the above cos that would make a fantastic story for rob the journalist.

So here i go back down to the warmer (ha ha ha!) south, come and see me whenever, however, if you do come down and find i've actually moved up north, i'm sure mum and dad would love to see ya.

Big kisses for the Court 8 Massive ( + Vikki, naturally.)
